How To Prepare For Your Video Shoot – A Simple Guide

If you have never done a professional video shoot before, it is normal to feel a little nervous or unsure what happens. We make the whole process as easy and stress‑free as possible.

Here is exactly what you need to know and do to prepare:

🗓️ Before the shoot

- Firstly, and most importantly, we will have have calls and meet ups if at all possible to ensure we know your business inside and out. This will allow us to write the best plan possible for the shoot.

- We will send you a clear plan / script / shot list so you know exactly what is happening

- Think about your main message: what is the one thing you want viewers to remember?

- Wear plain clothes – avoid big patterns, logos or bright colours that look odd on camera

- Let us know if you have any special requirements or people you want included

🎬 On the day

- We arrive early to set up lights, cameras and sound

- We will guide you through every part – what to say, where to stand, how to look natural

- We will do our best to make you feel calm and relaxed so that you come across as best as possible on film. We understand you’ve probably never done anything like this before! We can film everything a few times so we can choose the best version - so there’s no pressure! There is no rush – we just want to get it right!

✨ After filming

We edit everything, add music, graphics and colour grading, then send you drafts to approve.
